'Godavari'- ee vesavi challaga untundi, the second telugu movie from Sekhar Kammula didn't fall below expectations of 'Anand' fans. It didn't miss the sensitivity touch that the director mastered in 'Anand'. This movie is far better than 'Anand ' in one aspect, language. 'Chakkani telugu nudikaaram' is felt through out the movie.
The main attraction for the movie is certainly the main character, Sriram . Sumanth made his mark. His look suited very well for the movie. Though I'm not his fan, I am certainly surprised by his command of expressions in the movie. His costumes suit his chracterization. I wish he would continue in these type of roles rather than mass roles.
'Maradalu/ Maama kooturu' character is very very well played. She is beautiful and you will certainly like her cute histrionics.
'Seeta/SeetaMaaLaxmi' , the heroine character is well played as well. But somehow Bhoomika is seen in her histrionics, or may be I felt like that because Bhoomika is trade mark actor for those kind of egoist girl character. I hardly felt any flaws in acting part of the movie. Every role is well played.
Not to forget, the main plus point of the movie, music by Radhakrishnan added soul to the movie. I loved his background scores along with Slokas,Kritis played in background as in Anand.
It was a wonderful experience for me to watch the movie in a good theatre in Tirupati, that too second show. Certainly the movie is of its own class.
