Both are taken care in gtalk gadget.
Smileys were introduced weeks ago.
But just today Group Chat is also introduced.
So just sign in with your gmail id in Gtalk Gadget Client.
nd njoy both features. :)
Here is my group chat with my friend RamaKanth, who has volunteered to experiment with two ids of him. :P
Lets just wait till both these features gets included in new gtalk version! ;)
